Bella - a minimal pot hanger
Introducing Bella, our creation of a unique, strong and minimal wirerope pot hanger
Made here in West Cornwall and inspired by the delicate tensioned lines of a sailboat’s rigging; Bella is an almost invisible, ephemeral support for plant and pot.
We originally created these for our goldwinning RHS Chelsea exhibit in 2022; as an intrinsic part of an aerially planted garden room (https://www.theplantedhouse.co.uk/rhs-chelsea)
For Chelsea each hanger was a bespoke size (as you can see, some holding pretty big pots!) ; we’ve now rationalised the size range to cover a good range of pot types and dimensions.
They are a popular product in our Penzance shop and are now available to buy online.
Constructed from fine 1mm stainless steel wire rope, they are available in two colours and three fixed lengths and able to accommodate most pot types
Just place the top loop on a strong hook and install the pot between the wires, distributing each one evenly. With the wires under tension, vining stems can be encouraged to twist up and around them.
