Since her early teens Antonia has collected, lived with (and is sometimes spatially challenged by!) a heady abundance of indoor tropical foliage.
In the early days, her grandmother (who had grown up in the Tropics) was a hugely valued source of knowledge, cuttings and orphan plants.
From a rather exhausted thirty year old Falcatus (which really should be on the compost heap), and ‘Old Phil’ the ancient but still energetic Philodendron, to an unfurling baby fern.. every plant and cutting is part of a life long journey full of hope, joy, despair and discovery!

Penzance is now home, and whenever there’s a moment to spare.. the landscape, whether on the beach or inland, is a perpetual draw.

As for so many others, living with a biophilic interior reinforces a powerful connection to the natural world.. and the commitment to cherish it.

We are a small team; Antonia firmly at the helm; partner Ian quietly wrangling all things design and techie.. and fantastic Katie and Ben in the shop guiding our wide ranging customers in their love of houseplants large and small.
